W. Bradley Hunt joined Mackenzie Hughes in 2004 and is a partner in the firm. His practice focuses on business litigation and environmental and land use law.

Brad has handled state and federal cases in both trial and appellate courts. He has considerable experience in motion practice and appeals. In addition, Brad has represented clients before a number of municipal planning and zoning boards and in negotiations with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. He serves as Planning Board Attorney for the Town of Van Buren and the Village of Manlius.

Brad graduated with honors from Williams College with a B.A. in English in 1993. In 1997, he received his J.D. with honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where he served as Articles Editor of The University of Chicago Legal Forum. Brad is admitted to the bars of New York, Illinois, and several federal courts.

Before joining Mackenzie Hughes, Brad practiced law for five years at Mayer Brown in Chicago, one of the nation's leading law firms. At Mayer Brown, Brad represented major corporate and governmental clients in complex litigation in state and federal courts throughout the nation. Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Brad served as a Law Clerk to Judge Pasco Bowman of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit in Kansas City.

Brad lives in Syracuse with his wife and three sons. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Onondaga Historical Association. He enjoys hiking, cross country skiing, and playing the guitar.
