Samantha L. Millier joined Mackenzie Hughes in 2010 and is a member of the firm’s litigation department where her practice focuses on commercial disputes, insurance coverage, and personal injury.

Samantha graduated cum laude from Colgate University in 2006 with a degree in political science and psychology. Samantha received a Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law where she graduated cum laude in 2009. Samantha was admitted to practice law in Kentucky in 2009 and in New York in 2010.

During law school, Samantha served as Notes Editor for the Kentucky Law Journal and as a member of the Moot Court Board. She was honored with an award for the best oral argument from the Marshall Writing Group, the Stoll Keenon Ogden Kentucky Law Journal Service Scholarship, and with the CALI award for the highest grade in her first year Torts class. She authored The Facebook Frontier: Responding to the Changing Face of Privacy on the Internet which was published in the Kentucky Law Journal in 2009.

Prior to her employment at Mackenzie Hughes, Samantha practiced in the business litigation department of Frost Brown Todd, LLC in Lexington, Kentucky. There, she gained experience in all aspects of litigation, including arguing motions in Kentucky courts.

In her free time, Samantha enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with her family.
